Lohith Chatragadda is currently an Honors Program Ambassador and Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Rhode Island, focusing on developing smart textile solutions for healthcare within the Wearable Biosensing Lab. Additionally, Lohith serves as an ACC Young Scholar with the American College of Cardiology and works as a Patient Care Attendant at Rhode Island Hospital, where responsibilities include monitoring patients and assisting nursing staff. As an Engineering Intern for the Town of Lincoln, Lohith conducts inspections and supports the Town Engineer on various projects. Previous volunteer efforts include helping individuals navigate the hospital and assisting in the Emergency Department. Lohith is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience and Microbiology at the University of Rhode Island, following a distinguished academic career at Lincoln High School, where Lohith graduated as Valedictorian.
