Jamell T. Johnson

Jamell T. Johnson, M.Jur., CCI, currently serves as Mayor Pro Tem and Councilman At-Large for the Town of Little Elm while also holding the role of Operational Risk Officer at Citi. With an extensive background in compliance and risk management, Jamell has held senior positions at Fidelity Investments, Goldman Sachs, and USAA, where responsibilities included conducting regulatory analysis and ensuring compliance with applicable laws. Previous military service includes roles as Antiterrorism Officer and Public Affairs Officer in the US Army, where Jamell managed anti-terrorism programs and communication strategies. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Business Law and Compliance from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice/Sociology from Ball State University.
