George Morfessis

George Morfessis is an experienced information technology professional with a substantial track record in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Commissioner of Information Technology & Telecommunications for the Town of North Hempstead, George previously held significant positions such as Deputy Commissioner of Information Technology and Project Manager for Met Council, focusing on data systems implementation. Earlier roles include Interim IT Director at The Ali Forney Center and Director of Information Services & Technology at The Fresh Air Fund, where innovative technology solutions and substantial cost savings were achieved.
