Kirk Biggar

Kirk Biggar is a seasoned professional in municipal planning with extensive experience in policy development and management. Currently serving as the Manager of Policy Planning and Heritage for The Town of Oakville since June 2022, Kirk oversees complex municipal planning projects while leading a team of planning staff. Previously, Kirk worked as a Planner - Long Range for The Town of Oakville from April 2006 to September 2008, focusing on policy development and implementation. Prior to that, Kirk was the President and Owner/Operator of The Healthy Forest Company Limited, a consulting firm that provided resource management planning services across various sectors from May 1993 to April 2006. Academically, Kirk holds a Master's degree in Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor's degree in Forestry from the University of New Brunswick.
