Chad Weaver has an extensive work experience in the field of community development and planning. Chad started their career as the Director of Planning at the City of Waukee, Iowa, where they played a crucial role in managing the city's rapid growth and overseeing various planning and review functions. Chad then moved on to the City of Omaha, where they served as the Assistant Planning Director and Planning Manager, handling a wide range of responsibilities such as development review, sustainability, and master plan creation. After that, Chad joined the City of Tempe as the Community Development Director and later took on the role of Engineering and Transportation Manager. Currently, they work as the Community Development Director at the Town of Paradise Valley. Chad also has experience working at LifeVantage Corporation as an Associate. Throughout their career, Chad has demonstrated their expertise in urban design, infrastructure planning, and grant writing.
Chad Weaver's education history begins in 1993 when they enrolled at Simpson College and pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics and Management. Chad successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 1997. Afterward, Chad went on to attend Iowa State University from 1999 to 2002, where they pursued a Master of Community and Regional Planning degree. Chad successfully completed this program as well. Finally, Chad returned to Iowa State University and pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree. Chad completed this program in 2007.
