Michelle Kivela is an accomplished public administrator currently serving as the Town Manager for the Town of Parker, Colorado, a position held since June 2012. Kivela has extensive experience in municipal management, having previously held roles such as Acting Town Administrator and Deputy Town Administrator in Parker. Prior to this, Kivela served as Deputy City Manager for the City of Lone Tree, Colorado, and held various positions including Assistant to the City Manager, Police Department Support Services Manager, and Parks Trail & Recreation Director in Greenwood Village. Kivela's career began in Texas, where roles included Assistant to the City Manager in Sugar Land and an Administrative Intern in Addison. Kivela holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government and a Master of Public Administration in Local Government Management, both from the University of North Texas.
