Emily Shy

Emily Shy currently serves as the Finance Manager for the Town of Payson, where oversight of financial operations and budget preparation takes place. Previously, Emily held various finance-related leadership positions, including Director of Finance and Accounting at FleetGenius™, where management of nationwide accounting teams was a key responsibility. Experience also includes roles as an Auditor at Kimberlin Company and Office and Accounting Assistant at Community Tire Pros and Auto Repair. Earlier career highlights include positions in sales and customer service at Midway Nissan and Camelback Hyundai Kia, as well as experience in livestock management and guiding at Cave Creek Outfitters. Emily holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Accounting from Grand Canyon University and an Associate of Arts in Accounting and Business Management from Glendale Community College.
