Town of Prosper
Randall Gurney, CEM, currently serves as the Emergency Management Coordinator for the Town of Prosper since October 2023. Previously, Randall held the position of Assistant Emergency Management Coordinator with the City of McKinney from 2008 to August 2019 and served as Assistant EM for Collin County from August 2019 to October 2023. Randall obtained the Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) designation in 2013. Prior to these roles, Randall worked in Project Controls for Fluor Corporation from September 2005 to April 2008, managing project costs and tracking labor on a billion-dollar construction project. Randall earned a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Administration and Disaster Planning from the University of North Texas, having studied at Collin College from 2001 to 2003.
