Shawn E. Cadime is the current Town Administrator at Town of Seekonk. Prior to this, they served as the City Administrator for the City of Fall River from May 2010 to December 2013. In this role, they served as the Chief Operating Officer of the City and directed all departments and managed the daily operations of the municipality. Shawn also directed the preparation and implementation of the City’s capital and $250m operating budgets, the monitoring and assessment of budgetary and programmatic performance, the analysis of municipal programs, and internal audit of programs and departments for efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness enhancements. In addition, they ensured the fiscal security and programmatic integrity of the City’s enterprise funds and provided executive direction to the labor relations and collective bargaining functions. Shawn also monitored the budget, performance, and activities of the School Department, so as to assist and advise the Mayor in their capacity as Chair of the School Committee.
Prior to their role as City Administrator, Shawn served on the School Committee for the City of Fall River from January 2006 to May 2010. Before that, they worked as a Financial Analyst for General Dynamics C4 Systems from May 2003 to May 2010.
Shawn E. Cadime has a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Marketing from Bryant University. Shawn also has a certification from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Office of Inspector General in Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Officials (MCPPO). Shawn E. Cadime also has a certification from the Edward J. Collins, Jr. Center for Public Management in Supervisory Leadership Development Program.
