Mara Huston has extensive experience in community engagement and program management, currently serving as an Elected Park and Recreation Commissioner for the Town of Sudbury since 2016, with a tenure as Chairperson from 2020 to 2023. Prior to this role, Mara founded and operated Mara's Swim Lessons, providing private swim instruction to over 150 individuals and achieving a remarkable re-enrollment rate. In the nonprofit sector, Mara held significant positions with Habitat for Humanity, leading community outreach efforts for a major project, and with MICAH, contributing to local organizing and advocacy. Additionally, Mara has experience in product management at Cisco Systems and Cerulean Technology. Educational credentials include an MBA from Boston University and a BS in Computer Science from Penn State University.
