Chelsea Crager is an experienced urban planner with a strong background in municipal planning and environmental science. Since January 2016, Chelsea has served in various capacities at the City of Newport Beach, progressing from Assistant Planner to Associate Planner, and currently holds the position of Senior Planner. Prior to this, Chelsea worked at the City of Costa Mesa from July 2012 to January 2016 as an Assistant Planner and Planning Intern. Earlier experience includes a role as a Marine Naturalist Interpreter at the City of Newport Beach, and positions related to education as a Math and Chemistry Tutor at UC Irvine and as an Outreach Student Assistant at the Discovery Science Center. Chelsea earned a Master of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, both from UC Irvine.
