Dawn Scala

Dawn Scala is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as the Municipal Prosecutor for the Town of West New York, NJ, since January 2023. Scala has a robust background in prosecution, having worked as an Assistant Prosecutor at both the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office from May 1997 to December 2020 and the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office from December 1995 to May 1997, where responsibilities included handling all juvenile matters. Earlier legal experience includes serving as a Law Clerk for Hon. Kevin G. Callahan, JSC, from September 1994 to August 1995, during which Scala drafted opinions and prepared legal memoranda. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (JD) from Seton Hall University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Drew University.
