Katie Symonds

Katie Symonds, AIA, LEED BDC, WELL AP, and Fitwel Ambassador, currently serves as Associate Principal at Centerbrook Architects and Planners since June 2022, and also as a Historic District Commissioner for the Town of Wethersfield since August 2022. With a commitment to architectural excellence, Katie has held roles such as Senior Associate and Senior Project Architect at various firms, including JCJ Architecture and id3A, and has contributed to academic instruction as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Hartford. Additionally, Katie has been an active member of the Connecticut Green Building Council's Board of Directors from December 2014 to December 2020. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Building Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where studies were completed from 1997 to 2002.
