Brad Anderson

Brad Anderson currently serves as the Supervisor of Development and Principal Planner for the Town of Whitby since March 2024. Prior to this role, Brad held the position of Senior Planner for Development Approvals at the Corporation of the Town of Ajax from April 2023 to March 2024. With extensive experience at Durham Region from November 2010 to April 2023 as Principal Planner, notable achievements include leading the Growth Management component of the Regional Official Plan review and developing the Regional Broadband Strategy. Earlier roles include positions as a Senior Planner, Project Planner, and Planning Analyst/Planner in various organizations, culminating in a Bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Ryerson University.
