Chris Perry

Chris Perry has extensive experience in fire service management and consulting, currently serving as Fire Chief for the Town of Zebulon since March 2013 and as a Senior Consultant for NC Fire Chief Consulting since August 2020. Perry's previous roles include part-time Fire Investigator and Assistant Director/Fire Marshal for the County of Johnston from November 2008 to February 2022, and Chief Deputy Fire Marshal for Wake County from July 1992 to November 2008. Perry began a career in fire service as a Firefighter in the Town of Zebulon from July 1990 to July 1992. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Fire Science from Columbia Southern University and an Associate in Applied Science in Fire Protection from Wilson Community College, along with a High School Diploma from Zebulon High School.
