Laura Swinchock

Laura Swinchock, Esq, PHR, SHRM-CP has extensive experience in compliance, human resources, and law. Laura served as the Senior Director of Compliance & HR at Towne Park, the Executive Director of HR at Bechtel Plant Machinery, Inc., and as an Attorney and Founder at Laura D. Swinchock Law Firm, LLC. Laura also held roles at UPMC, Naval Nuclear Laboratory, and UPMC prior to those positions, showcasing a strong background in HR and workforce development.

Laura Swinchock obtained their Bachelor of Science in Psychology-Human Resources from Westminster College (PA). Laura later pursued their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University through the Part-Time Evening Program. In addition to their education, they hold various certifications including the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Society for Human Resources Management - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). Additionally, they are a licensed Attorney in the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and holds certifications in Professional Research and DDI Certified Facilitator.
