Heather Masters

Heather Masters has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Heather is currently working as the General Manager at TownePlace Suites Grand Rapids Airport since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked at TownePlace Suites by Marriott, starting as a Front Desk Representative in February 2019, then advancing to become the Executive Housekeeper in August 2019, and finally transitioning to the role of Director of Sales in July 2020. From November 2017 to October 2018, they served as a Supervisor at Urban on 28th at Delta Hotel GR. Before that, they were a Supervisor at Uncle Cheetahs Soup Shop from September 2015 to February 2017. Additionally, Heather has experience as a Cook at Houlihan's Restaurants, Inc. from May 2015 to September 2015. Prior to that, they worked at JW Marriott Grand Rapids as part of their Banquets team from January 2012 to May 2015. In their earlier career, they held various roles at San Chez Restaurants Inc, San Chez Bistro, Inc, and Graydon's Crossing, gaining experience as a Prep Cook, Prep/Assistant to Catering Chef, and Line Cook respectively.

Heather Masters received their bachelor's degree in Business Management with a focus on Management, Governance & Leadership from Davenport University. Heather also obtained a bachelor's degree in Business Administration-Management and Business Management from Grand Valley State University. Before attending Grand Valley State University, Heather Masters attended Grand Rapids Community College from 2004 to 2006, where they studied General Studies and business administration.
