Sri Gowda has a diverse work experience in sales and marketing management roles within the hotel industry. They started their career as a Sales Manager at the Fairbridge Hotel and Conference Center in December 2017 and worked there until November 2019. They then joined M&R Hotel Management as a Sales and Marketing Manager from November 2019 to October 2020. During this time, they were responsible for developing and implementing sales plans, exceeding quarterly goals, and organizing sales blitzes. Following this, Sri Gowda worked as a Sales Marketing Manager at Holiday Inn from October 2020 to March 2021. Currently, Sri Gowda holds the position of Director of Sales at TownePlace Suites by Marriott, starting in March 2021. In this role, they are responsible for strategic sales planning, reporting, revenue management, and pricing management.

Sri Gowda pursued higher education at two different institutions. From 2013 to 2016, they attended St Joseph's College of Commerce (Autonomous) where they completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree. During this period, their field of study was focused on Business and Commerce in general. Following this, from 2016 to 2018, they enrolled at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Marketing/Marketing Management.
