Brad Ward

Brad Ward is the current CEO at TownNews and has over 25 years of experience in the field of software engineering. Brad began their career in 1986 as a software engineer for CText and then transitioned to programming for the Moline Dispatch Publishing Company. In 1997, they began working for Lee Enterprises, Inc where they were responsible for newspaper production system installations and support for their 48 daily and 100+ non-daily publications nationwide. Brad also oversaw the Online systems infrastructure for both Lee Enterprises and TownNews.com. In 2004, they left Lee Enterprises to assume their current role as CEO of TownNews. Prior to their work in the private sector, Ward served their community as a school board member for Sherrard School District and as secretary for the Sherrard Fire Protection District.

Brad Ward attended Augustana College where they studied mathematics. Brad then attended Sherrard High School.
