Dennis Dowd has a diverse work experience in various legal and government roles. Dennis started their career as the Past Chair of the New Jersey Racing Commission in 1989. Dennis later worked as the Senior VP of Legal & Governmental Affairs at the New Jersey Sports & Exposition Authority from 2008 to 2010. During their time there, they also served as a consultant for multiple organizations including the ISE: Sportec, Racing & Gaming Services, Hamiltonian Society, and Standardbred & Thoroughbred Horsemen Assoc. In 2010, they became a Senior Consultant at the International Securities Exchange (ISE) until 2013. In 2012, they joined the Standardbred Breeders and Owners Association as an Attorney. Currently, they are working as the Chief Judge at the Township Of West Orange since 2015.
Dennis Dowd has pursued a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Rutgers University - Newark. After completing their undergraduate studies, they furthered their education by attending Seton Hall University School of Law, where they earned a Juris Doctorate in Law.
