Thomas van der Hoff has extensive work experience in various roles within the recreation and community services field. Thomas started their career in 2011 at the Tim Horton Children's Foundation as a Program Facilitator. Thomas then moved on to the City of London, Canada, where they worked as an Arena and Operations Worker and later as a Policy and Planning Analyst. In 2015, Thomas joined the Township of Woolwich as a Facility Attendant and later transitioned into roles such as Supervisor of Parks and Facilities, Manager of Operations and Projects, Acting Director of Recreation and Community Services, and currently holds the position of Deputy Director of Recreation and Community Services. Thomas has shown dedication and growth within their field of expertise throughout their career.
Thomas van der Hoff completed their Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours in Recreation and Business, Parks Option at the University of Waterloo from 2009 to 2014. In 2022-2023, they furthered their education by obtaining a Graduate Diploma in Public Administration from Western University. In addition to their formal education, Thomas also pursued studies at the Ontario Recreation Facilities Association but the specific degree or field of study is unknown.
