Athanasios Ghavelas

Athanasios Ghavelas is a distinguished Paralympic Champion and world record holder in the 100m T11 category, boasting a remarkable time of 10.82 seconds. As an athlete specializing in the 100m, 200m, and Long Jump, Ghavelas is also a member of Toyota Team Hellas, working towards the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. Ghavelas serves as an ambassador for several prestigious brands, including adidas, Alpha Bank, and DELTA FOODS SA, where involvement includes social media engagement and awareness campaigns. In addition to athletic pursuits, Ghavelas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, completed in March 2023.
