Erik Gustafsson is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in the automotive industry. Currently serving as Project Leader for Product Communications at Toyota Motor Europe since August 2021, Erik oversees the creation and implementation of Pan-European communication strategies related to Toyota products, electrification, and mobility across 29 European distributors in 32 countries. Prior to this role, Erik was the Manager of PR, CSR & External Affairs at TOYOTA Sverige from May 2018 to August 2021, where responsibilities included managing public relations for Toyota Sweden AB brands and aligning communication strategies across departments and the dealer network. Erik also held the position of Press- and Sponsoring Manager for SKODA at VOLKSWAGEN GROUP Sverige from December 2016 to May 2018, focusing on public relations and marketing strategy, as well as managing sponsorships and activations for key events in Sweden.
