Peter Richmond

Peter Richmond has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Peter currently serves as the Director of Information Engineering at the Toyota Research Institute. In this role, they manage the Infrastructure Engineering team, which focuses on transforming cloud infrastructure into a flexible and secure platform for AI/machine learning research in mobility. Prior to this, Peter worked as the Founder and Owner of GeekLight LLC, offering technology consulting and services to small and mid-size organizations. Peter also served as the Director of Technology at Modus Health, PlanetTran, and EDC, where they had responsibilities ranging from overseeing technology platforms to web management and development. Peter Richmond completed their education with a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Systems from Drexel University in the years 1994 to 1996. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Design & Environmental Analysis (FP&M) from Cornell University, attending from 1986 to 1991. In addition to their formal education, Peter Richmond has obtained certifications in "Supervised Machine Learning: Regression and Classification" and "Gamification" from Coursera, with the latter obtained in 2012 and the completion date for the former undisclosed.
