Zubair Irshad

Zubair Irshad, PhD, serves as a Research Scientist in the Computer Vision team at the Toyota Research Institute since January 2024, focusing on NeRFs for 3D representation learning, pose estimation, and policy learning. Previously, Zubair held positions as a Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology, where research involved neural radiance-based representations, and as a Research Intern at Toyota Research Institute, contributing to multiple papers on computer vision and deep learning. Zubair holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, with prior degrees in the same field from the same institution and Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology. Key contributions include five published papers and two patents related to Full Self-Driving (FSD) technologies and neural representations.
