Alex Taylor

Alex has a housing background and joined tp bennett to focus on large-scale residential and mixed-use developments in London. Using his experience of managing large teams and external consultants, he leads detailed tender and construction packages through to completion.

Alex’s strengths lie in aligning design integrity with commercial value, as manifest in projects such as the High Street Quarter, Hounslow and Fulham Riverside and Battersea Reach in London. Overseas he has worked from Africa to Canada and designed a concept scheme for two mixed-use towers in Abu Dhabi’s Sowwah Island (now Al Maryah Island).

Alex is also involved in the practice’s Technical Design Group, which ensures that all projects achieve technical and regulatory compliance throughout the design process. At university he was nominated for an RIBA Silver Medal for his design thesis, which proposed a comprehensive redevelopment of London’s South Bank.
