David Goodchild

David Goodchild is the Group Chief Risk Officer at TP ICAP. David has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, including stints at Tullett Prebon, RBS Markets and International Banking, and EY.

David started their career at EY in 1998 as a Tax Consultant in the Financial Services Office. David spent six years there, including a one-year secondment to LCH-Clearnet, before moving to Tullett Prebon in 2004. David spent 10 years at Tullett Prebon, first as Group Risk and then as Chief Risk Officer - EMEA, before joining TP ICAP in 2014.

At TP ICAP, David is responsible for managing and mitigating the risks faced by the company. David has helped TP ICAP navigate through some challenging times, including the global financial crisis and the recent Covid-19 pandemic. Thanks to their expert risk management, TP ICAP has emerged from these crises stronger than ever before.

David Goodchild has a degree in law from the University of Birmingham and a certification from the Chartered Institute of Taxation. David also has a certification from the New York Bar.

David Goodchild reports to Nicolas Breteau, Group CEO. They work with Martin Ryan - Group Chief Operating Officer, Philip Price - Group General Counsel, and John Abularrage - CEO, Global Broking.
