Gaelle Abi Younes

Gaelle Abi Younes is an experienced transport planning engineer currently employed at Transports publics fribourgeois - TPF since April 2023. Previous roles include transport planning at BG Ingénieurs Conseils, a teaching assistant at Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, and a summer internship focused on construction element reuse at Structural Xploration Lab, EPFL. Gaelle has also held various leadership positions at the American Society of Civil Engineers - LAU Student Chapter and contributed as a student research assistant at the Lebanese American University, where work involved analyzing the behavior of Lebanese drivers. Additional internships include positions with Dubai Contracting Company LLC, Sfeir Engineering and Construction, and Dar Al-Handasah (Shair and Partners), gaining valuable experience in site engineering and transportation network design. Gaelle completed a Master's degree in Civil Engineering at EPFL in 2023 and holds a Bachelor's degree from the Lebanese American University.
