Gavin Owen

Gavin Owen has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and IT industries. Currently serving as a Network Engineer at AAPT since January 2006, Gavin is responsible for managing core, distribution, and edge networks, specializing in Cisco, Juniper, and Alcatel-Lucent Layer 3 devices. Prior to this role, Gavin worked as a Customer Network Engineer, addressing customer-facing issues related to various communication technologies. Earlier career experience includes positions as a Systems Administrator at HLP Group, a Network Administrator at Cliftons, and a Tech Support professional at Asia Online. Gavin holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Commerce, Linguistics, and IT from The Australian National University, completed between 1993 and 1998.
