Christopher Bifano

Vice President Maintenance And Repair at TRAC Intermodal

Christopher Bifano has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Christopher began their career in 1998 as a Rail Operations Superintnedent at APL/Pacer Stacktrain, where they were responsible for daily stacktrain operations in the Gulf Region. Christopher then moved on to Mediterranean Shipping Company in 2000 and served as a Regional Maintenance and Repair Manager for the Western Region of the U.S. In this role, they acted as a liaison between the Equipment Control Department and Ocean Terminals.

In 2005, Bifano joined TRAC Intermodal, where they held various positions. Christopher started as the Manager of the Gulf Regional Chassis Pool, overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of a pool of 15,000 chassis units. Christopher then progressed to become the Senior Manager for the Gulf/South Region, leading operations in the Gulf and Southeast areas of the U.S. with over 18,000 units.

In 2015, Bifano took on the role of Director of Operations for the Marine West Region at TRAC Intermodal, responsible for the P&L of the chassis pool operations with 40,000+ units. Christopher later advanced to become the Vice President of the Marine West Region, where they had P&L responsibility for ~60,000 chassis units.

Throughout their career, Bifano has demonstrated extensive experience in P&L management, customer and vendor relations, and operational improvement initiatives.

Christopher Bifano received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marine Transportation from SUNY Maritime College, completing their education between 1989 and 1994.
