Michael Dougherty

Michael Dougherty has extensive experience in the transportation industry. Michael started their career at CSX Intermodal in 1987, where they held various roles including Manager, Regional Manager, and General Manager. Michael was responsible for the financial performance of rail and truck operations at multiple intermodal facilities. In 2011, they joined H & M International Transportation, Inc as Director of Safety, overseeing a safety program for 800 intermodal rail employees. In 2012, they joined TRAC Intermodal as Director of Safety & Compliance.

Michael Dougherty earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from Rowan University, which they completed from 1980 to 1983. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications, including an Advanced Safety Certificate from the National Safety Council in 2020, and certifications in Mobile Equipment Operation and Commercial Tire Service Instruction in 2015, among others.
