About the Role
Traceable seeks a dynamic and inspiring sales leader to spearhead our enterprise sales team in the West region. As the Regional Vice President, you will report directly to the CRO and will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our sales strategy to align with our ambitious company goals. Your expertise will be crucial in fostering strong client relationships, driving significant revenue growth, and expanding our market presence. 

In this role, you will manage all aspects of the sales process and will play an integral role in the success of the overall sales team. The ideal candidate is someone with strong leadership skills, relentless drive, and the desire to build and disrupt the API security market.  Join us in this leadership role to inspire and elevate our team to new heights of success. 
 
Role Responsibilities: 
  • Second Line Leadership: Lead a high-performing sales function for the West region, providing strategic oversight to drive sales strategy, goal attainment and overall regional growth.
  • Coaching: Offer continuous coaching, mentorship and support to team members in prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing high-value deals to drive both individual and team success. 
  • Strategic Sales Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the region ensuring robust execution and fostering a collaborative team selling environment.
  • Performance Monitoring: Oversee and analyze sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and revenue forecasts to track progress against targets.  
  • Product Expertise:  Demonstrate an intimate understanding of Traceable’s platform and its value to our customers, positioning it effectively in the market.
  • Executive Relationship Building: Identify, cultivate, and build relationships at executive levels (CISO/CIO/CTO) in enterprise accounts within the designated territory to secure new business. 
  • Channel Partner Development: Develop and nurture strategic relationships with existing channel partners and identify new channel partners to drive additional opportunities and expand the pipeline.
  • Sales Process Discipline: Execute a highly disciplined, metric-driven sales process ensuring accurate sales forecast and activity metrics in CRM.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with marketing, sales enablement, channel partners, and sales engineering teams to ensure a unified approach to sales and customer success.  
Qualifications: 
  • Minimum 6+ years experience managing a team of enterprise account executives. 
  • Minimum 10+ years of sales experience in security or complex cloud SaaS environments. 
  • Experience working in a highly fast-paced startup environment. 
  • Proven track record of closing large six-figure deals and consistently achieving sales targets. 
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills with a proven ability to motivate a team. 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and persuasive skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. 
  • Proficiency in using MEDDPICC sales process, forecasting, and qualification methodologies. 
  • Ability to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced, highly dynamic startup environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support regional sales efforts that drive revenue.
