Solutions Architect at TraceLink

Alan Finger has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Alan started their career in 1985 as the President of Cytek, Inc., and held this position until 2004. From 1988 to 1991, they worked as a Sr. Software Engineer/Manager at Apollo Computer. Alan then moved on to work as a Professional Services Consultant at RSA The Security Division of EMC from 1996 to 2004. In 1999, they became a Member of the North Shore Aero Club, where they enjoyed flying two well-maintained aircraft. In 2005, they worked as a Principal SW Engr/Team Leader at Tatara Systems, Inc., where they developed and maintained development schedules for multiple projects. From 2006 to 2007, Alan served as the Services Engineering Manager at Real-Time Innovations, managing East Coast professional services group projects. Alan then became a Customer Solutions Architect at MorphoTrust USA from 2007 to 2014, where they connected customers, sales, and engineering. Since 2011, Alan has been the Owner of Golden Age Radios, specializing in the repair, restoration, and sales of vintage (up to 1950) electronics. In 2012, they became the 1st Vice President of the New England Antique Radio Club. Since 2014, they have been working at TraceLink, initially as a Solutions Architect, leading successful technical solutions and demonstrations for key accounts, and later as the Manager of Demonstrations and Tools, creating software and materials to support the Solution Consulting Team.

Alan Finger attended Clarkson University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Alan also attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 2005 to 2006, where they obtained a Certificate in Project Management. Additionally, Alan has a background in Physics, although the specific degree earned at Binghamton University is not specified.
