Brian Barnes

Brian Barnes has a diverse range of work experience in product management and marketing roles. Brian is currently the Senior Manager of Product Management at TraceLink, where they manage a team in India and is responsible for track and trace, compliance, and analytic solutions. Prior to this, they were the Manager of Product Management at TraceLink, leading a team focused on delivering GXP supply chain reporting applications. Brian has also held the position of Senior Product Manager at TraceLink, where they successfully delivered complex B2B enterprise solutions for the pharmaceutical industry.

Before joining TraceLink, Brian served as the Director of Product Management at Wintac Software by Intac International. Brian also worked at Constant Contact as a Technical Product Manager, where they were responsible for backend services and optimizing the email platform. Brian's experience also includes serving as the Director of Marketing at Riparian Data, where they conducted user research and oversaw the release of a 1.0 client.

In addition to these roles, Brian has held positions at CA Technologies, EnerNOC, Infinata Inc., and Applix, where they gained experience in product management and leadership roles. Brian Barnes completed their education with a Master's degree in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business between 2005 and 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara. In addition to their formal education, Brian has obtained certifications in Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn in October 2022, and Product Management: Building a Product Strategy from LinkedIn in June 2022. Brian also holds a certification as a Certified Agile SCRUM Product Owner, although the institution and specific date of acquisition are unknown.
