Katherine Godin began their work experience in 2002 as an English and Reading Teacher at Malibu High School. Katherine then went on to work as an English Teacher at The Lincoln School from 2005 to 2007. In 2007, they joined the Timberlane Regional School District as an English Teacher, where they stayed until 2008. Katherine then worked as a Humanities and Writing Teacher at Bedford High School from 2008 to 2012. From 2009 to 2012, they were an Online Instructor at Virtual Learning Academy Charter School. In 2012, Katherine became a Content Designer and Online Writer at Study.com, and they held that position until 2014. Starting in 2014, they worked as an Adjunct Professor of Education and Student Teacher Supervisor at Southern New Hampshire University until 2017. Most recently, Katherine has been employed at TraceLink since 2018, initially as a Technical Curriculum Developer and currently as a Training Operations Manager.

Katherine Godin's education history consists of several degrees and certifications. Katherine attended Vanderbilt University from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and French. In 2001 and 2002, they attended Columbia University, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education. Later, from 2006 to 2008, Katherine attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where they obtained a Master of Education degree in Educational Administration and Supervision.

In addition to their degrees, Katherine Godin holds a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®), which they obtained in July 2023 from the Scrum Alliance.
