Shawn Smith

Shawn Smith started their career in 2000 as the Director, Venture Division and General Manager at NVST.com. Shawn then worked at Alpha Technologies as the Director of Sales Operations from 2003 to 2006. Shawn joined Thomas & Betts, a member of the ABB Group, in 2007, where they held various roles including Business Development Manager, Director of Product Management & Marketing, Vice President of Sales, and finally, Business Unit Leader / General Manager. In 2012, they joined AMETEK as the VP / Business Unit Manager and stayed with the company until 2019. Shawn then became the President of MTE Corporation in 2020. Currently, they are the Chief Executive Officer at Trachte LLC, starting in 2022.

Shawn Smith earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1992. Later, from 1996 to 1999, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Marketing from the University of Rhode Island - College of Business.
