Baldur Vilhjalmsson

Baldur Vilhjalmsson has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. In 2011, they started working as a Ski Snowboard Instructor at Hlíðarfjall, where they taught skiing and snowboarding to both groups and individuals. In 2020, they participated in the iGEM Competition as part of the Talent program at SDU. The same year, they also joined RSP Systems A/S as a Student Intern. In 2021, Baldur worked as an Optical Engineer at RSP Systems A/S, where they were involved in the development of a non-invasive glucose monitor. Baldur'sresponsibilities included conducting simulations in Python and Zemax, feasibility studies, and staying updated on new technologies. In 2022, they joined TracInnovations as an Optical Engineer. Additionally, in 2020, they worked as a Teacher at Odense Kommune, teaching Icelandic language and culture to children with Icelandic parents in Odense.

Baldur Vilhjalmsson obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Technological Engineering from Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark. Baldur later pursued a Master's degree in Physics and Technology from the same institution, graduating in 2021.
