Robert Horster

Robert Horster is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the commodity and trading sectors. Currently serving as an Associate Fellow at Erasmus Commodity & Trade Centre and a Board Member for both the Land Innovation Fund and TRACT Sustainability Measurement, Robert holds significant leadership roles at Cargill, including Head of Environmental Markets and Global Sustainability Lead for Agricultural Supply Chain and Food Ingredients. Robert's previous positions at Cargill include Managing Director a.i. for the Agricultural Supply Chain EMEA Oilseeds and Global Head of Trading for Cargill Refined Oils. Additionally, Robert has contributed to academia as a guest lecturer at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, and has engaged in various educational programs focused on strategy and artificial intelligence at INSEAD and MIT Sloan School of Management. Robert's educational background includes an MSc in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
