Philippe Van Troeye

Philippe Van Troeye is the current CEO at Tractebel. Philippe has previously worked as the CEO of Electrabel, the Belgian subsidiary of ENGIE, from 2014 to 2021. Before that, they were the Generation Manager Belux at Electrabel GDF SUEZ from 2003 to 2011. From 1988 to 2003, they worked as the Maintenance Manager South Region at Electrabel. Prior to that, they worked as a Research and Development Engineer at Philips from 1986 to 1988.

Philippe Van Troeye has a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Electrical Engineering Automation from Faculté Polytechnique de Mons, and is currently working as a Health and Safety Advisor. Philippe has also completed the CEDEP General Management Program at INSEAD.
