Neal Silverman

Neal Silverman is the CEO and Co-Founder of Traction Technology Partners, a venture capital firm based in Boston, MA. Neal is also a Senior Lecturer at the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Prior to founding Traction Technology Partners, Neal was the Senior Vice President/General Manager of IDG Enterprise, where they led the DEMO business unit. DEMO is the world-renowned launch platform for emerging technology. Neal oversaw all aspects of DEMO, including the global events portfolio, on-line, professional services, DEMO CIO Council, international licensing, and business development.

During their time at IDG Enterprise, Neal made several key achievements, including leading the expansion of DEMO business unit; developing brand extensions DEMO Mobile, DEMO Enterprise, DEMO Traction, The DEMO Blog, DEMO.COM, DEMO TV, DEMO Films, and DEMO Live Global Broadcast; developingDEMO Council, a professional services business and joint venture with CIO Council; being invited to announce at World Economic Forum attended by 2,000 govt and business leaders; doubling DEMO's event portfolio adding $1M in gross revenue to domestic operations; forging strategic partnership with the U.S. State Department and LIONS Africa; and expanding operations to China, Russia, Brazil, Africa and Southeast Asia.

Neal has a BA from Tufts University and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
