Vladimir Tchernitski has a background in computer vision engineering and research. Vladimir started their career at Azoft in 2008 as the Head of the R&D department, where they led a team of researchers and developers. During this time, they attended conferences, including the Codefest conference in Novosibirsk, Russia.

In 2015, Vladimir joined faceter.io as a Computer Vision Engineer. Vladimir developed an analytic module for a face recognition system in a video surveillance system from scratch. Vladimir implemented various modules, including video stream decoding, face detection, face alignment and scoring, face tracking, and face features extraction and storage. Vladimir utilized programming languages such as C++, Python, CUDA, and frameworks like PyTorch and OpenCV.

Currently, Vladimir is working at TRACXPOiNT as a Computer Vision Engineer, focusing on developing and implementing computer vision algorithms optimized for embedded devices. Vladimir is also responsible for the implementation of the video streaming pipeline using tools like gstreamer, raspberry mmal, and nvidia jetson mmapi.

Vladimir Tchernitski pursued their education from 1994 to 1999 at Chita State Technical University. During their time at the university, they earned an Engineering degree with a specialization in Power Engineering.
