John Parris

John Parris currently holds a retired status after being unemployed since January 2018. Prior to retirement, Parris worked at Trade Risk Guaranty (TRG) from March 2014, starting as an Account Representative, where responsibilities included providing customs bonds and marine cargo insurance. Later, Parris served as an Underwriting Assistant, focusing on the collection and organization of sensitive financial documents and effective communication with clients and colleagues. Earlier experience includes a role as Head Doorman at Zebra Cocktail Lounge from July 2005 to January 2014 and military service in the U.S. Army as a Radar Operator, Paratrooper, and Office Manager from September 1997 to December 2001, specializing in tactical operations and radar maintenance. Education was completed at Simms High School, earning a diploma in General Studies from 1994 to 1997.
