Ijeoma Ozigbo's work experience includes various roles in the banking and fintech-lending industry. Ijeoma is currently working as the Head of Collections and Recovery Unit at TradeDepot, where they develop industry-level recovery strategies and oversees the activities of the collections and recovery field team. Prior to this, they worked at Heritage Bank Plc, where they served as the Team Lead for Recovery in the South Bank Region and was responsible for monitoring and leading a team in the recovery of recalcitrant accounts. Ijeoma also held the role of Team Lead in Centralized Shared Services, where they delegated tasks and led a team in customer onboarding and account management. Ijeoma has experience in international services, FX transfers, and remittances. Before joining Heritage Bank, Ozigbo worked at Ecobank Transnational Incorporated as a MICR processor and at Oceanic Bank as a Teller/CSO. Ijeoma Ozigbo holds a diverse education background. In 1999-2003, they obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting from IMT Enugu. Following this, from 2008 to 2010, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Management Science from Imo State University. In 2020-2021, Ijeoma acquired an MBA, specializing in Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Automation, from Nexford University. In 2022, they enrolled in a Data Accelerator Program for Data Analytics at Utiva. Additionally, they hold certifications such as the Google Project Management Certificate from Coursera, the Chartered Management Institute certification from the Chartered Management Institute, and the Giving Your Elevator Pitch certification from LinkedIn.
