Niels Veenema has over 20 years of experience in the maritime industry. Niels began their career at Allseas Marine Contractors as a DPO and worked there until 2002. Niels then joined National Cargo Bureau, Inc. as a Senior Surveyor for five years. In 2007, Niels joined Ports America, Inc. as a General Superintendent, where they stayed for almost ten years. Since 2016, they have been working as the Senior Director of Marine Operations at Tradepoint Atlantic.
Niels Veenema attended Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen from 1995 to 1997, where they obtained a degree in S1 (Eerste Stuurman Grote Handelsvaart). No specific field of study was provided.
