Vladislav Šmihula has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. In 2009, they started their career as a Market Research Assistant at Unient Communications. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Business Development Consultant at John Clements Consultants, Inc., where they successfully secured 18 new accounts and represented the company at networking events.
In 2014, Vladislav joined L'Oréal Česká republika s.r.o. as a Jr. Product Manager, responsible for the Czech, Slovak, and Hungarian markets. Vladislav held this position until 2016.
During the same period, Vladislav founded Asia-Slide s.r.o., a company focused on providing internships, educational, and business services for European individuals and companies in Asia. Vladislav played a key role in establishing and expanding the company's presence in China.
From 2016 to 2019, Vladislav worked as a Category Manager at BSH Home Appliances Group, where they contributed to the management of product categories.
Taking a career break from 2020 to 2021, Vladislav resumed their professional journey as a Jr. Software Developer at NXT Soft in November 2021. Vladislav was involved in developing React-based applications, as well as parts of .NET Core and Node.js backend services for a US-based client. Vladislav left this position in June 2022.
In 2021, Vladislav also worked as a Front End Web Developer, building websites and web applications for various businesses and non-profit organizations. Vladislav'sresponsibilities included weekly content updates, setting up Google Analytics, and ensuring compliance with local GDPR requirements.
Currently, Vladislav is serving as a Jr. Software Developer at Tradesnest, a role they started in September 2022.
Vladislav Šmihula has a diverse education history in various fields. Vladislav began their education in 2007 at The University of Economics Prague, Czech Republic, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in International Trade. After completing this program in 2010, they proceeded to obtain a Master's degree in the same field from the same institution.
In 2012, Šmihula expanded their knowledge by attending Turun yliopisto - University of Turku, Finland, where they focused on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies and earned another Master's degree.
Later in 2013, they attended Far Eastern University, where they participated in the Stepping Up to a Management Program, specializing in Business Administration and Management. Additionally, in the same year, they enrolled in the Extraordinary Leader Development Workshop offered by Zenger Folkman.
To further enhance their academic qualifications, Šmihula pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from the University of London between 2023 and 2025. This program allowed him to gain expertise in the technological aspects of the field.
