P. Kerim Acanal

P. Kerim Acanal holds extensive experience in emerging markets finance, currently serving as Managing Director and Global Head of Emerging Markets at Tradeweb since July 2022. Acanal also serves as Vice Chairman of the Board at Cessas Plaza and co-founded EMBonds, where the focus was on enhancing efficiency and transparency in the secondary trading of emerging market bonds from April 2013 to February 2020. Prior roles include Senior Portfolio Manager at Pharo Management specializing in Emerging Markets Macro and head of Local Rates trading for CEEMEA at Lehman Brothers. Acanal's career began in trading positions at Credit Suisse and Citi. Academic credentials include an MS in Financial Mathematics from ESSEC Business School and a degree in Electronics Engineering from Boğaziçi University.
