Alexis Hoffstadter

Alexis Hoffstadter, SHRM-CP has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Alexis has worked as the Director of Training and Culture Development at TradeWinds Island Resorts, where they implemented recognition programs and engagement opportunities to promote a positive workplace. Prior to this role, Alexis served as an Assistant Human Resources Manager at the same company, leading employee development efforts and creating dynamic training programs. Alexis also worked as an Assistant Director of Activities, ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining successful operations within the Activities department.

Before joining TradeWinds Island Resorts, Alexis gained experience as Ms. Service at Tampa Bay Lightning, where they enhanced fan/guest experiences during live entertainment and sporting events. Additionally, they worked as a Media Mentor and Ice Skater at Feld Entertainment, Inc., coordinating global PR and publicity for Disney on Ice and serving as a spokesperson in high-profile interviews.

Alexis also has a background in ice skating, having worked as an Ice Skating Instructor, Choreographer, and Private Coach at Park District of Oak Park. Alexis coached students individually and in groups, created customized lesson plans, and prepared students for testing and competition. Alexis later returned to the role to conduct specialized clinics.

Furthermore, Alexis has served as a Judge at the US Figure Skating Association and has worked as an Actress, Singer, and Dancer at Open Door Repertory Company. Alexis also competed as a National Competitor in figure skating.

Alexis Hoffstadter, SHRM-CP, earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice (Double Major) from the University of Illinois Chicago. Alexis attended the university from 2003 to 2006. During the same period, they also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Criminology from the University of Illinois Chicago. In April 2020, they obtained a certification in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Florida Atlantic University. Most recently, in July 2021, they achieved the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM.
