Rachel Day has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Rachel is currently working as the Chief Financial Officer at Tradition Senior Living, LP since August 2019. Prior to this role, Rachel served as the Senior Tax Manager at Curtis Blakely & Co., PC from December 2014 to July 2019. Rachel also worked as the Controller at RHW Metals, Inc. from July 2013 to November 2014. Rachel began their career as a Staff Accountant at Curtis Blakely & Co., PC from May 2008 to July 2013. Before that, they gained experience as an Accounting Intern at PMC Commercial Trust from May 2006 to April 2008.
Rachel Day has a strong educational background in both accounting and Spanish. Rachel attended Southern Methodist University and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in Accounting, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Spanish. Rachel then went on to pursue further education at the Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business, where they completed a Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) degree. Additionally, Rachel Day obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification in November 2009. Prior to their university studies, they attended Longview High School from 2001 to 2004.
