Dominykas Sedleckas

Dominykas Sedleckas has a diverse work experience. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Researcher at the Centre for Physical Sciences and Technology. Dominykas then worked as a Petroleum & Reservoir Engineering Intern and a Chemical Engineering Intern at BP in 2013 and 2014, respectively. From 2015 to present, they have been employed at Trafi, where they have held the positions of Junior Data Scientist, Software Engineer, Lead Software Engineer, and Engineering Director. As Lead Software Engineer, they have been leading the team responsible for WL MaaS solution development to the clients, which consists of .NET Core C# based APIs and extensive use of AWS managed components. As Software Engineer, they have been involved in the development of the MaaS platform from ground-up, including a GPS feed processing pipeline, prediction engine, and API to allow operators to fix incorrect feed data in real-time. As Junior Data Scientist, they have been involved in the analysis of real-time public transit data, development of prediction models, and development and maintenance of static schedule data processing pipelines using AWS and R scripts.

Dominykas Sedleckas attended the Kaunas University of Technology Gymnasium from 2008 to 2011. Dominykas then went on to pursue a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Chemical Engineering at the University of Cambridge from 2011 to 2015.
