Ameer Ali

Ameer Ali is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with extensive experience in business development, procurement, and operational efficiency. Currently serving as the GM of Business Development and Company Secretary at Trafigura since 2017, Ameer has played a pivotal role in establishing Trafigura Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd. Prior experience includes heading the Procurement Department at Pakistan LNG Limited, where Ameer developed a sustainable LNG supply chain in Pakistan, and holding various senior executive roles at Pakistan State Oil, contributing to the foundation of the country's first LNG supply chain and enhancing operational efficiencies across diverse divisions. Ameer holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master's in Sustainable Energy Technology from Eindhoven University of Technology and a Master's in Energy Systems from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, complemented by an MBA and a BS in Mechanical Engineering.
